SofTec Solutions, Inc. (www.softecinc.com) is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Proposal Writer located at the corporate headquarters in Englewood, CO.
POSITION PURPOSE: Assist in driving new business objectives to increase business objectives and revenues through writing winning proposals that facilitate solicitation and procurement of new business for IT outsourcing and, support staffing services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develops proposals for business opportunities and respond to requests for proposals. Assess and write proposals, orals presentations and meeting documents for a variety of potential buyers. - Ensure a smooth flow of information and consistent messaging in proposals by proofing, editing and rewriting all sections of proposals, oral written presentations, client communications and meeting documents as required
* Writes proposals and strategies to meet marketplace objectives. Identifies opportunities within new and existing accounts, and ensuring alignment with field managers' business objectives.
* Work closely with Senior Business Development Executives and Senior Management to develop value propositions and unique strategies during pursuits that produce deliverable results.
* Ensure current contracts are maintained according to contractual obligations and business objectives.
* Ensure staff morale and client satisfaction.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or Marketing or equivalent combination of work experience is required.
* Minimum of 5 years proven Federal contract management experience.
* Minimum of 5 years proven proposal writing with focus in contract proposal writing for government and commercial contracts with a sales approach in IT consulting and outsourcing.
* Excellent writing skills Proficient in word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Exceptional communication, presentation skills, follow-up.
