SofTec Solutions, Inc. (www.softecinc.com) is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development located in Englewood, CO.

The Senior Vice President of Business Development will lead the sales, delivery and marketing efforts.

The employee will pro-actively market Company's IT support services and capabilities to the existing client base while also developing new clients. The goal of the SVP is to establish Company as the premiere IT support services company, building on Company's already impeccable reputation.

Responsibilities:

• Project sales and marketing: stimulate business opportunities with key clients.
• Work with the President & CEO to develop and implement strategic goals for national (especially federal) and international markets as well as tactical marketing and sales plans to meet sales and marketing objectives.
• Hire, train, coach and manage the marketing and business development team; support them in meeting objectives and deadlines as well as establishing strong working relationships with cross-functional groups; accountable for staff performance.
• Oversee the implementation and performance of contracts where Company has been engaged.
• Recommend and approve pricing structure and price changes.
• Develop and respond to requests for quotes on information technology related solicitations’ fully understand clients needs and communicate Company’s ability to meet them via proposals and presentations.
• Establish image of Company as the premier IT support services firm: give presentations to prospects, participate at conferences and nurture press contracts.
• Project implementation: develop plans for meeting client’s objectives, define real needs, plan to exceed client’s expectations.
• Allocate resources to maximize productivity and responsiveness.
• Participates in the development and implementation of sales and marketing policies, business agreements, sales agreements and strategic business alliances.
• Participate in research to respond to client’s needs: take leadership on several projects, assist on others, and oversee all.
• Write reports and make presentations of results: assure meeting the client’s expectations.
• Seek Follow-up assignments: develop creative proposals based on initial assignment.
• Assist in recruiting appropriate personnel: sales, business development, project managers, and practice directors/managers.
• Prepare a range of periodic reports relating to the Division activities and make presentations, when appropriate.
• Oversee all sales performance and sales forecasts. Evaluate the impact of sales performance and sales forecasts on the company goals and make recommendation to President & CEO
